Baby Room
Welcome to our baby room, where we are very proud of our achievements. From opening in 2006, we have made many positive changes to become where we are today.
We believe the children flourish into inspiring two-year olds by having an amazing time in our successful homely and safe environment. The children’s development is always at the heart of our learning. The environment is set up for the children to develop in all areas of learning. As well as planning around the children’s interests we believe children strive from outdoor play opportunities, which is why we like to spend time exploring outdoors in all weathers as well as having little adventures out in the community.
We were very proud to be chosen to participate in the research project by Durham County Council, this was a great opportunity for practitioners to reflect and provide the best outcomes for babies. For more information about this please follow the link below:

Two Year Room
Welcome to the Two Year Old Room, where we have a team of four staff members who each work with key families.
Our family groups allow your child to build up a close relationship with their key practitioner and their peers. It also gives us the opportunity to base family time on fun filled activities which are relevant to your child's interests and allows them to flourish into the terrific two's they are.
As a setting we strive for success everyday, providing a relaxed, homely and natural stimulating environment. The children are given the opportunity to learn through play so they can be inquisitive, explore and develop independence in their experiences.
Nursery Education
Our Three Year Room is thriving with energy as the children begin their first steps to Mainstream Education.
The room is divided into well defined areas which have resources to support children's learning and development through play and construction.
We strive to support learning through play but also through using life experiences, incorporating home life into our rhythm of the day.
We believe that having a home from home environment encourages the children's confidence and personality, enabling them to develop through the early years foundation stage.
Activities and play experiences are planned in the moment to ensure each child is challenged and given the chance to learn and develop on an individual basis...... not forgetting having endless amounts of fun and enjoyment.
Wraparound and holiday care
In the wraparound, out of school and holiday care sessions we provide care to wraparound Nursery and School Education.
We provide a drop off and collection service to some local authority Nurseries and Schools.
We can also provide care during the school holidays. Our series is available for 51 weeks of the Year, the only week the nursery fully closes is over the Christmas break.
